Hope for Cancer Patients (HCP) did several COVID-19 Awareness Programmes and food distribution amongst 20 tribal villages of Jharkhand in the month of April 2020.Thanks to all volunteers who reached the villages after completing a difficult journey of several kilometres in the hills where there were no roads. The HCP team reached the villages of the pahadia people and gave them awareness program about corona virus infection, its dangers, and ways to prevent themselves. They were happy to know about it. This programme was historical for them because no organization or Government body had ever gone there. These people are very poor, and they earn their living by selling dry leaves, wood, cow dung cakes and papad etc. We are happy to state that HCP could donate dry food packets in 20 villages in the region. It was a fulfilling experience for all HCP members and volunteers. We thank all our volunteers and donors.
