HCP conducts relevant workshop sessions at cancer hospitals like Vydehi, Whitefield; Narayana Hospital, Electronic City; and Kidwai Hospital in Bangalore. Focus is primarily on poor kids afflicted with cancer. HCP takes painting and crafts classes for kids to keep them engaged where they can learn something useful during their period of treatment. HCP also celebrates their birthdays and festivals (Deepawali, Christmas, Dussehraetc). HCP also conducts entertainment programs for kids and adults afflicted with cancer through magic shows, puppet shows, games and balloon moulding programs.Apart from counselling sessions to patients and their parents on issues of side effects, positive thinking, financial matters and treatment plans, HCP gives valuable guidance on how to survive in bigger cities while the ward is getting treated.
